Who would have thought that we could get the Call of Duty 4 ProMod community to adopt a new home so quickly. It would be a downright lie to say that the numbers aren't impressive. With over 2900 matches played in the somewhat short life of CyberGamer Europe, it really seems that the Call of Duty 4 ProMod community have accepted this site to become their new home after being scattered across several different portal

As you could have noticed, the CyberGamer Amateur ladder has been closed for the past few days as the admin crew has been going through all the open matches and solve the disputes. As stated Vita Nova's most recent statement, the top 14 teams of CGa will be invited to compete in the CG Main League, as well receiving credentials to the #cod.invite IRC channel.
As with any tournament, there has been one upset - as RAGE Gaming, who were ranked 11th at the end of the ladder won't be raging too much (no pun intended) as they, lost a dispute vs cHaos Gaming, which put the latter into 11th, RAGE into 15th place, together with "a new project" luckily landing 14th on point difference. Likewise, Druidz ended too close for BallerS comfort as the latter won by mere 183 points, which is not a lot given that during the last days one could get upwards of 1000 points.
Through some heated discussion topics it had also become clear that the community was not satisfied with the ranking system, and that is why we have changed it to a better, more familiar ELO rating system. Having said that, the CGa ladder is being reset - allowing for some new potential to shine through and be added to the CGm league - and is LIVE from the minute this news post is on the front page and will remain open until towards the end of Season 2.
The teams qualified for CGm have been moved to the waiting pool for the Season 2 of CGi and CGm, but we are still to announce any news on our second edition of the biggest CoD4 league on the planet.

From the moment we actually signed up we played pretty much every night, I dunno how you can say we didn't play?
System was flawed seeing as we played half the amount of games as they did and lost more but still got in.
RG was the most active and succesfull team of CGa
it stays a joke into my eyes and one of the reasons progrip is still not participating.
cod4 needs CG but sometimes you have to look past the rules.

lakai were the only team that would play us.. within the last week anyway, no-one wants to play #1.. and you're talking about midway in the season that we refused to play you? boohoo, loads of teams refused to play us but you don't see me making posts about it lol
I can assure you that the flaws in the system are not highlighted by us, we beat pretty much everyone, we deserved first, if anything we got fucked over by the system because we were consistently top 3/5 while other teams started playing towards the end and got top instantly because of the points gained thing changing.

in the last 2-3 it was just as hard for us to convince anyone to play us equally, so your entire point is invalid apart from you saying we're scared to play you? okay then sure, we're too scared to play you idc lol

Then a few weeks later we're top ten with you (obviously you were higher than us because you were getting more points blah blah blah....)
So its coming towards the last two weeks of the ladder and Vith has in his xfire "5v5 cga be well ranked" or some poxy shite, so we message you on xfire and what we get told is "Its right at the end of the season, why risk it?"

like I said, I don't do the war arranging shit, at right the end of the season we shit ourselves because druidz popped out of nowhere with a million losses but on more points than us and we wanted to come #1, so we didn't wanna play you as it's always a pretty close game, I assume, I dunno..
however that isn't what I'm talking about, I'm on no highhorse, once again I've just gotta sit here and defend my team as we're once again at the topic of discussion.
This game shouldnt be about ducking and diving teams, its ridiculous the way teams and people carry on in this game (not aimed at you distant but as a general overall) I mean I understand not playing teams that are like... ranked 130th n shit, theres no gain for the team. But as far as im concerned a good game is all we search for!
We played inspired, they beat us (think it was one of the last days) but my god that game was fucking tense as fuck!! Their a great team!
