Being one of the most beloved and fan-favourite Quake players ever, it was a rarity that the Russian did not have a movie made yet by anyone in the world. However, a couple of months ago, Mousesports together with the Russian himself were looking for movie makers to make him a movie.
The result of that work is now been made public, with Torn Productions being the production company behind the movie, having made the recent DahanG 2010 movie by justin and now working together with Mousesports on creating this 8min15sec movie, featuring frags from Anton "Cooller" Singov's matches throughout 2010 and 2011.
The movie especially focuses on some of the more momentuous moments in his recent career, not featuring tons and tons of frags, but building around each one, featuring shoutcasted moments by some of the biggest shoutcasters and commentators to cover Quake Live. Overall the movie is very appealing and as the movie maker himself commentated, he preferred having less scenes, to better fit the pace of the movie.
Statement by Torn Productions and its movie maker, subtitled:
" There was a fair amount of frags left over that I exported and intended to use but didn't end up making it in due to pacing issues, etc. As a result in the coming weeks I'll probably upload some outtakes/leftover footage also. I tried to prioritise good frags on good players (or good moments in competitions) rather then amazing frags on pub randoms as I figure if you want dm17 midair rockets then you're probably watching the wrong video.
