That is all our coverage, aswell as keeping you updated with the scores, Quadv streams and letting you know what is happening around the event. Please leave your feedback on our coverage, as a lot of us worked really hard. Thanks for your time, it's much appreciated.
but yeh was nice up-to-date stuff for non-lan players like me (:
i personally dont liek the audio iview's becus i get bored halfway and start to check dumper/youtube/listen music.
i prefer written iview's like the raz 1 ( eventho it was quite short)
big thumps up tho! :D
A transcript, and a proper player like Cadred use.
Match recaps, galleries, everything in general was 100% spot on, just needs fine tuning with the interviews.
I thought the coverage was first class, there were obvious problems with Quadv but that's nothing to do with tek9. Lots of interviews, updates and reviews were really handy and helpful for me (who has completely lost touch with who is who etc) to get a view on whats going on and what to expect.
I preferred the video interviews you did at Iseries as they are easier on the eyes ^^ but I guess that takes a lot of work.
Was kind of hoping that the score-bot thing you had for OOF (?) would have come back at some point because that was really awesome and considering the streaming on Friday was terrible it would have been nice.
Would be nice to have some score predictions for each match to give people an idea of whether it is likely to be close or not.
But all in all, good stuff :)
thanks of tek9 admins and quadv shoutcaster
for this lan support
Hell of a team to do it as well ::))
nah jokes, it was pretty mediocre.
I'll hopefully try and maybe get the right equipment for the next events :)

I didn't like the audio interviews, as - with all do respect wiz - I could hardly understand anything because you speak to fast (:D), and the interviews generally seemed very rushed. The audio quality was pretty bad also.
The QuadV interviews on the otherhand (available in HD) on Youtube where GREAT, but I don't think many people knew about them / have seen them, which is a shame. These should've been incorporated / embedded into your coverage IMO.

I have gotten alot of good responses from the community about the audio interviews, alot of people said they were great. I actually said to Tom about the quality of the dictaphone but he said it was fine. For the next event, I will slow it down, try and improve the audio quality.
Thanks for the feedback!
don't get me wrong, it was a great initiative and I did listen to some of them, but ye the accent and the fast talking + bad quality kinda threw me off, I'm sure other people will agree :p
Perhaps a bit more chilled and articulate approach + a better dictaphone would make it more enjoyable for idiots like me :)
And why was there no coverage on tek9 about our 3rd/4th place match, it was done before final even started (or did I just miss it in the headlines?)
Other than that the coverage was great.
one of the main points was maybe interviewing non stars at playing the game.
It would be nice to maybe interview some of the organisation behind the LAN, maybe well known people that are involved with ANYTHING to do with the scene. Maybe interview some of the teams that turned up to the LAN knowning that they was not going to get anywhere near top at all... as those type of teams supported the event for fun when most 'top' teams went for the prize fund.....
just my opinion.. flame if you want
