CIC7: Preview of the Final

Posted by Tom DuRuS Nevill on 2010-03-07 19:39:41

DuRuS Previews the up and coming CoD4 final, between Reason and fnatic

We are at that stage of the tournament, the final, between Reason Gaming and fnatic, set to take place once the ET final has completed. The winner walks away with a huge €5,000 so there is certainly all to play for.

We preview the tournament, as well as getting a lot of the people here to give us their preview for the final.

The Game

The game is going to be a very tough event. What has happened previously has happened, and now it really doesn't matter. They are in the final of a tournament with €5,000 up for grabs. They are going to be nervous, no matter what people say. fnatic have been here before, more so than the Reason players and this immediately gives them the advantage in my eyes, as a lot of it will come down to how the players play in this one game.

But then again we do need to look at how they have been playing. Reason have not lost a game, fnatic have (to Reason). They have been getting better with every match they have played, with certain players just getting amazing throughout the day. Lighters has just been utterally amazing being his usual cool, collective self. Duffer has also come out of his shell, getting 50 frags in the Power Gaming game.

But fnatic have also had their fair share of good play. Stevy has been Stevy. Amazing. odyx has shown that he is a world class player worthy of being part of the fnatic Professional division, with some brilliant clutches. And KyoChi has been unbelievable.

Who will win? I simply can't say. So who better to ask than the specators here at the event themselves. We took a dictaphone around and have got all of the different opinions for you below.

Do you agree with their predictions? Let us know in the comments below. We will bring you more coverage of the final which at the moment does not have a start time, thanks to some technical problems.

REASON to win, they have been very good and I think the entire team deserves to win after the efforts put in to prepare for the tournament, also TD going out on a high is something he'd well deserve.
