Fnatic barely beat iNFiNiTY*SKiLLS to secure a place in the finalsFnatic started not knowing exactly what to expect from the Hungarians of iNFiNiTY*SKiLLS, who have been performing particularly well but one could argue they missed any confrontations with the previous top teams (Dignitas, Reason, Fnatic, ...). Beating both Loaded and an on-form Speedlink was warning enough for Fnatic who started the game on mp_crash.
It took a lot of blood, sweat and tears for Fnatic to overcome a strong iNFiNiTY*SKiLLS team with clutches of Stevy and KyoChi being required to turn the game around in favor of fnatic. 13-11 the score on fnatic but it might have well gone the other way.
A similar scenario on the second map as fnatic keep struggling with a strong Hungarian side, who could be labelled the surprise of the tournament beyond any doubt. Progress was a little easier for fnatic this time around but iNFiNiTY*SKiLLS didn't give up and brought it back to a close game, only to lose out in the final rounds, 13-10. Two close games for fnatic who, despite not looking particulary strong in any match, have once again secured a place in the Grand Final of a tournament. They have the experience to go all the way but will the lack in true form be one hurdle too much for the fnatic side?

Reason Gaming take down Power Gaming in a convincing style and will now face fnatic in the Grand FinalReason Gaming start their game against Power Gaming on mp_citystreets with a win as they had a close game, beating Power Gaming with the lowest of scores: 13-11. It looked like smooth sailing for Reason as they climbed to 11-8 but Power Gaming managed to get back into the game levelling it eleven all. Reason however were not impressed and took the next two rounds, giving them their first map win.
The second map started off equally on mp_backlot with both teams bringing the score to 5-5. After that Reason started to take control with Lighters and Soclon both clutching vital rounds, moving Reason in front. Power Gaming had little they could do about it and it almost seemed like Mazarini was playing for Reason this match as two teamkills at vital times cost them dearly. Duffer continued strongly, dropping a 50-bomb with both maps combined (30 on city, 20 on backlot) proving vital for his team at crucial times.
Reason now move on to the Grand Final where they will face the Swedish powerhouse fnatic who haven't found their best level yet but have proven strong enough to get this far and is always a team to be wary of.
