I am back again with my series of my infamous blogs which I write at every event I attend, it's not that easy to get rid of me!
I woke up at around 10.00 with my Dad storming into the room shouting "William William get up you have to apply for your placement and get your bagged packed" aye Dad, I'll get up in a minute, an hour later I manage to drag myself out of bed. I woke up with my breakfast in front of me but I was still half asleep until my mum starts shouting and running to grab a pair of binoculars from the closet. She shouts "William get over here is that a hawk? Where did it go, where did it go?" My mum gets excited too easy and starts shouting everywere, you need to see it to believe it. After all the commotion, the so called "hawk" turned out to be a dove, sigh. After breakfast I jumped in the shower, applied for my placement in Australia and packed my bag for Holland. My mum kept shouting around the house like she does on every holiday but manages to calm down just before I head off to the airport. Before I leave to get into the car, my Mum shouts "William, don't do anything you shouldn't, you dont know what you will catch."
I got into the car and the first song my ipod, Black eyed Peas, I got a feeling. That first song will hopefully sum up this trip! I arrived at the airport, said goodbye to my Dad and was on my way. I checked in without a problem and headed to security. I actually made it past security for a change, so thats twice in a row now but the security guy wanted to see my mobile. My iphone made it through but he hadn't seen my other phone before and wanted to know what it was. Once I explained and they tested it, it was good to go. I grabbed a bite to eat in the airport and bought Joe Calzaghe's autobiography and then my gate came up on the screen. I boarded the plane and was on my way. I done some work on the plane, writing up questions and before I knew it I was in Amsterdam.
Got off the plane, grabbed my luggage and was on my way to the trainsation at the airport. I got my ticket and I had to change trains twice to get to the event. I asked the train guy a question and he just sat and looked at me, useless mess and just worked it out on my own. My train came and I managed to grab a seat beside the window. I changed trains and was 30 mins away from the event when DOK xtcjeh came on the train and his pal DOK archii. It was good to have some company but was weird to see them on the same train as me. We finally made it to the Enschede station where Camiel aka jetset was waiting for me.
We chatted and made our way to the event, it was really cold outside and I wish I hadda brought my scarf. The event from the outside looked very impressive, we walked in and I met up with Steven and Tom, the coverage team for this event. I had a walk around and saw Sarah and Eva (Vixxen and Yuna) at the bar. Sarah at the bar, theres a suprise! Eva gave me a present as it was my Birthday a few days before. It was very nice of her, thanks so much Eva <3. I then went to see infused, they are such a great bunch of guys. While I was there I managed to chat to vanq and raivz. I caught up with Vanner, choobie, skeir, zajaki before me and Vanner headed to a Vita Nova meeting. While heading to the meeting I managed to chat with gevers, lighters, miracle, messioso and TLR. The highlight of the day was meeting my best gaming buddy, Robert "mean" Kouters. I have known him for 4 years and havent never seen him at an event, so it was really nice to see him! Me and Vanner then headed to find Bo or as Darren calls him "the oversized 9mm" and karko to have a meeting. On our way there I met the whole of corgz aswell as some various other people. We finally had our Vita Nova meeting which went well and I also had something to eat and Steven even brought me Ice tea <3.
After the meeting, Tom uploaded some pictures and we felt it was time to go back to the hotel. Tom managed to steal the front seat of me but the trip was only 15 mins back to the hotel. Its a very nice hotel and I was staying in the same room as Steven again, I think he has a thing for me. We openned the door and saw a familiar bottle sitting on the desk, yes it was the same bottle we had the shots out of at OOF so we had a few shots but it was vanilla which Im not to keen on. I wrote my blog while he watched TV and after a long but great day its time to hit the sack! Lets hope tomorrow is even better!
