After three months of intense competition the CyberGamer Leagues are drawing to a close, seeing all divisions locked whilst the few remaining scheduled games conclude. For now all teams are encouraged to participate in CyberGamer Open to fill the void until season three can commence.
What started off as a promising venture during 2011 has now grown into a pulsating lifeline for the CoD4 community, seeing numbers escalating on a daily basis. During the previous season over 12,000 matches were played in the CyberGamer Amateur League, compared to 2,000 the first time around. Alongside these impressive statistics the upper divisions showed increased stability, activity and drive creating one of the best competitions in CoD4 history.
The CG Invite division saw fierce competition, seeing European team Phantasmagoria finally take the gold after suffering only one defeat in the hands of eSuba.INTEL, who were the eventual runners up. Western Wolves took the final podium position, suffering defeats against apeX eSports, TCM-Gaming and Phantasmagoria. aPex eSports also put in a strong showing in the tournament, losing their third place position during the finals few days.

Now that the season has drawn to a close there are limited competitive options for the majority of the scene, and it is with these people in mind that the CyberGamer Open League has been constructed. The league works much in the same way as CyberGamer Amateur, but players can be in up to three teams at any time providing a place for teams to practise, to earn prestige and also to find wars with friends in a compeitive enviroment. For more information on the ladder alongside how to take part please take a look at the following video below.
lol.
you made a typ0 though, --> "who we're the eventual runners up"
And its kinda obvious since first 2+playoffs go through? :S

We still have CGa playoffs (whose participants still need to be determined because of disputes) and CGm playoffs (which is dependent on people actually getting back from ultra-lengthy holidays).
So there is still plenty to play for and look forward to, including Season 3 announcements.
Should be interesting.
When did it change?
We didn't implement anything, we just had to provide clarity to the system we devised months ago.
(There's a difference in the meaning of the word implement and clarity btw, should look it up).

cant tell if bait or serious? :D
tzac was bypassed by loads of cheats for adges, it doesnt even catch simple compass hacks and now its not been updated for 5-6 months so id probs put money on i could find free cheats that bypass it :D
just the way you look at it, just sayin "D:
Would be cool to make something like that.
as ESL Wire works just perfectly to catch hackers nowadays.
for me
Just sayin we need something like that.
Busting on demos takes a lot more time IMO and people will whine about how long it takes.
Also, demos sometimes don't say aything if someone is hacking or not, it could've been a call, or some other explenation a player thinks off when he plays...
It is really hard to catch hackers, (the ones that try to hide it)
like half time report from the current season or smth like that what is not too much work :)
