Currently taking on signups for the Showdown tournament for one more day, CEVO has released a guide of all the basic information needed to know about the tournament.
As of now, there are 115 teams ready for the tournament of the 128 slots provided. Signups will end around 0400 CET on Saturday Morning, and Brackets will be up by 0800 CET.
CEVO's cmn3 anticheat client is mandatory. You can download the CMN3 here. For those that have not used CMN3 before, after downloading it, you will have to use your cevo username/password to login to the client, then join the selected match in client, then start cod4 and join the cod4 server.
IF YOU DO NOT RUN THE ANTICHEAT CLIENT YOUR TEAM WILL FORFEIT THE MATCH.
Round 1 - Sunday, July 17th - mp_strike
Round 2 - Sunday, July 17th - mp_citystreets
Round 3 - Sunday, July 17th - mp_backlot
You can contact your opponent by having your captain login to the cevo site at www.cevo.com, then going to my account -> matches -> schedule matches. Please post your server info there. You report the final results of your match there as well.
Brackets and remaining rounds will be posted on Saturday, July 16th before 0800 CET.
There will be 8 brackets of up to 16 teams each with the top two teams from each bracket advancing to a championship bracket. Championship bracket will all be best of 3 maps, and will have a map pool of crossfire, strike, backlot, citystreets and crash, with teams using the toss/toss/pick/pick method to decide your map. Teams cannot toss the same map in two consecutive matches.
CEVO plan on matches starting promptly at 2000 hours CEST on Sunday, July 17th. Teams will have a 15 minute grace period to show up or forfeit. Rounds 1,2, and 3 will be played this Sunday with the remaining rounds to be played on Sunday, July 24th.
Game Specific Settings:
PromodLIVE 2.11eu will be used for ALL matches. Teams will knife for side choice.(rcon promod_mode match_knife_mr12) Home team (higher seed) will get server choice. Teams should at least having a 14 slot server for admins or shoutcasters.
Roster Locks
If you're needing to add a merc for the tourney if your team is a man short, CEVO will allow it.

when did you d/l it? My advice is to delete the program, completely uninstall, then redownload and reinstall. Also, make sure if you're on windows 7 that you're running it in administrator mode.
Matches will start at 7 BST, 8 CEST.
