CEVO announces March Madness Tournament

CEVO, LLC announces the Zowie CoD4 March Madness Tournament; an online event featuring thousands of dollars worth of prizes courtesy of Zowie & CEVO.

Following the completion of NERV 3, one of the most popular and successful Call of Duty 4 LAN events in North America, there seems to have been a rejuvenated interest in Call of Duty 4 competition. The LAN proved to be one of the most exciting LAN events that the North American Call of Duty 4 scene has seen in awhile as players that attended can't seem to stop bragging about how much fun they had, and players that missed the event can't seem to forgive themselves for not going.

In recent years CEVO has established itself as the premiere pay to play tournament and league provider for the North American Call of Duty community, so it is comes as no surprise that they are putting forth their own effort to keep the momentum up following the community organized NERV 3 event. They have once again given the competitive community a reason to start practicing and playing the game again with the announcement of not only their March Madness tournament, but also the announcement of a fifth season of CEVO for Call of Duty 4.

Focusing on their success while hosting other tournaments and league seasons, there is no doubt that these two events will be popular with the top teams in the competitive community, already managing to generate interest from almost 70 teams within three days of the tournament being announced on their website. With great prizes such as Zowie gaming peripherals and free entry into CEVO-Professional season 5 up for grabs, this is definitely a tournament worth playing in.

So for those old teams still wanting to compete at a high level with fierce competition, and for new competitive teams trying to make a name for themselves, be sure to head over to CEVO.com and sign your team up for the Zowie CoD4 March Madness Tournament.

I guess they're trying to switch things up a little bit. I wish they would start adapting some new custom maps like you guys are looking to do over there.

It really isnt that bad, overgrown wouldnt be near that terrible if there wasnt a hay field in every corner. Vacant isnt THAT bad, its not the best map, but i dont think its much worse then crossfire ^_^

I actually like Vacant a lot, I don't know why people complain about it...other then the wall spam in A, lame set nades, bad prefiring....and the list goes on I guess, lol; but all in all a decent map in my opinion.
