auRic Take In Some Druidz

The previously named Druidz team have today announced a change of allegiance after recent inactivity within their previous home became apparent. As of today they will undertake the responsibility of representing one of the most underrated British organizations, none other than Auric eSports.

After a four month stint within the Swedish organization of Druidz the team have regrettably made the hard decision to cut all ties and move to greener pastures after the previously active management disappeared from sight. The team had a promising stint during 2011 attending two LAN events placing first at the local LANFESTIVAL in Lisbon and finishing in 13th place at the E-Series Maximus event behind LiNK Gaming and Next Century eSports. The team has been a stable icon within the Portuguese scene for a lengthy duration now, making their last and only team alteration during November 2011.

As soon as the team realised their predicament they let loose the proverbial tracking dogs to find their unknown destination, and after weeks of rigorous searching and multiple recommendations all indications pointed towards Auric, who have been out of the mainstream competitive community for an extended period. During Auric's quiet period they have continued their support within the Call of Duty 4 scene by taking in an academy team, who have since departed after news of a second team was made known to them, and have since been wearing the tag of “BigBoys” until a new home which is more suited to their needs is found.

The team have had a promising start in 2011, and are entering 2012 with ambitious plans. They will kick start their LAN calendar  at Multiplay's Insomnia45 event at the Telford International Center, quickly followed by two XL LAN Parties in their local area of Pombal, Portugal. After the summer LAN period the team plan to attending further local events alongside a yet to be disclosed major European LAN festival.

The team came to us - which we were surprised about with their current record, and we are thrilled to take them on. They are a very stable and performing team. The team captain, Vitor "s1ckkkKKK!" Travassos gave TEK9 the following statement:
After the organization of Druidz went inactive and with our 2012 projects on going, we had to make a move. we are very excited to join such a big name as auRic ! Braes and LAWSONNZ are giving us an great opportunity that we don’t want to miss and it will be great to attend and play in our future Plans with their tag :)! The 2012 project that auRic eSports offered us is amazing and we couldn’t say NO! Thank you to all the auRic Supporters for making this happen!
