With signups now closed, we are three registrations shy of 300, closing in at a stunning 297 registrations for this AMD Minimovie Contest. Participants now have until January 17th to finish their movie after which they have ten days to upload their movie on our database. The winner will be known on February the 5th and will walk away with a new AMD Phenom™ II X4 940 3GHz Socket AM2 processor worth a cool €130. Not only that but everyone in the top five will receive that amazing price. With 297 registrations, we will undoubtfully see many of them drop out due to different reasons, and should you be unable to finish your movie in time please let us know so we can remove you from the list.

1. is a pixel aspect ratio of 2.35 (1055x450) accepted?
2. 1:30 the lenght of fragpart or the length of intro+fragpart+outro?

All videos must be available in a 16:9 or 16:10 resolutions. This does not mean that the video has to be in 1280x720 or 1280x800 however it must be capable of scaling to either to either one of those.
but the resolution thing isnt clear enough. because 1055x450 is also capable of scaling to one of the given resolutions. if its not allowed ill just render it with black bars so im on the safe side ;)
we have set the allowed aspect-ratio to 1.6 and 1.78 and nothing else.

When fragpart(1 : 30) begins?I have intro with no frags,then it smoothly passing to show you guy with gun running or shooting(3rd person view recorded in game),then he starts fragging(fps view).When fragpart begins?Then 3rd person view starts or first person?For me it is important to calculate the time of the movie.
its just cool to change it. you still see the sponsers.
athorwise you need to watch the same 20sec. at all the 297 movies
calculate: 1. 2/3 hour watching the same 20sec.
