RAGEtv have given us quite some entertaining Call of Duty 4 matches in the past, but now they are going to include a talkshow in their repertoire, called All The Rage. This two-weekly show will go live each Wednesday at 19h30 CEST and will feature a whole host of topics to be talked about by knowledgable pros as well as scene people.
The people behind RAGEtv had been juggling with the idea to host an eSports-minded talkshow for some time now and with the right amount of planning and preparation, they will be going live later today, with the first All The Rage programme.
The first show will be hosted by Josh "
OZBOT" Lee as well as Vince "
Metuz" Hill, your two familiar RAGEtv faces. Joining them will be FnaticMSI star, Stevy "
Stevy" Verheyen, TEK9 founder and Heaven Media specialist, Steven "
dfb" Leunens as well as Swedish Heroes of Newerth player, Kim "
Exorzon" Aspegren.
The pannel will be talking about failed LANs, ask the experts about their insights into eSports, both in Call of Duty and Heroes of Newerth. Each two weeks the All The Rage Talkshow will go live on Wednesday from 19h30 CET for about thirty minutes.
You can catch the very first episode by visiting the RAGEtv website:

Nice though :P :D
give link if theres VOD pls
LMAO , do not talk complete and utter shite .
some of the points made by ozbot were just reterded .
COD has allways been a series , it will allways have new games being released . Its a natural progression from one game to another , only reason why the competitive community stayed with cod4 is that WaW and MW2 were purely made for console. Those 2 games were impossible to play competitivly. Now that the makers of the series have went back to making the game availible to play competitvly again on the pc, more pc players will start to move over. ive played BO on the pc and for me , its not a game that will ever spark off competitivly . Though mabey as dfb said when modern warfare 3 (or whatever they call the next in the series) is released it will have the tools availible to become a very competitive game again on the pc . IF the makers of the next COD listen to what the community has said about BO , how to improve it , the tools needed to make it very competitive and fully implement them into the next COD with ofcourse some of their own ideas it has the potencial to be massive .
Everyone talks about CS and how long that game has lasted ect , it shouldent be used as an example in this case. Its a completly different thing than COD. I could go on about this but i cba.
As i said earlier COD is a series , for example when i played vCoD i loved it but when CoD2 was realsed everyone switched as it opened so many new windows . It gave newer players to the series the chance to start at a' relitivly ' even playing field , it introduced so many new players and teams to the game , more opportunity to play the best ect ect man im fucking tiredd..
anyway nice show
You clearly know nothing about my financial status.
Other than that - I agree with your points but my points were my opinion and that's valid I suppose? :D
- Have each host do their own section as Metuz was overshadowed by Ozbot, imo. Ozbot could possibly do this show on his own because he has a lot to stay and clearly shows passion (no offense to Metuz).
- Cut down on foul language. It personally annoys me when I hear casters / talkshow hosts in eSports swear when they're trying to deliver a professional service (I swear a lot myself, so I'm not against swearing in general, but this is a job).
- If you're going to talk about Call of Duty 4, don't bring a HoN player in, you saw what happened. Try to keep your guests related to the topic.
- Have your guests talk a bit about their history, don't just assume that everybody knows them and what they've done.
- End your show with a thanks to your sponsors
I enjoyed the show, but feel if my feedback was considered and implemented then it would improve by a mile.
Later on I got more talking done as Oz and the guests had said their piece and as such I involved myself more. You are right that at times I didn't say much and it is possible Oz could do this on his own if he wished to. I'm not sure what the 'because he has a lot to say and clearly shows passion' part was aimed at. Are you suggesting I don't show passion? I'm not looking to pick an argument here I'd just like to know if it comes across that way.
I feel that you're more than capable of doing your own episode but it would be entirely different to how Oz would host it. You open the floor for discussion like a true chairman does, and Oz is more pressing in his ways but is equally good with the direction he puts discussion into.
This whole talkshow thing is something I've toyed with (and taken part in) for a long time, researched many ways of delivering such a show and also bringing in varieties of how the show is directed/produced. I'm am so much in favour of this show happening, you wouldn't believe. If I had my own way, every org would do these so we have a good couple of shows a week rather than bi-weekly.
I didn't mean to make this sound like I was offending you, it was never my intention and sorry if I did. Sometimes I do come across bluntly so I apologise for that. However, you guys really need to review the points I made unless you only intend on having this talkshow for this small community (yes I said small!), but if you're planning on taking this to a level such as eSports Weekly was on, then my points will be key.
Again, good job.
I certainly understand your points and am glad this isn't something only we want.
1) Me and Metuz sort of counter eachother and I feel it works and at the end of the day (in my perspective) if me and Metuz are happy, then we continue.
2) This wasn't meant to be some formal service to the public lmao. This was more of a laid back discussion and we said to eachother before the show - No worries about swearing, things will get heated on the show. Not everything is supposed to be formal and professional mate. I prefer my show to be chilled and having a laugh while still remaining intelligent about things. I will certainly never see "All The Rage" as a stereotypical eSports show with "guidelines and rules".
Thanks for your opinions though mate. Like criticism.

If this is only going to be an informal thing then yeah, foul language isn't a problem. I had the impression that it was potentially going to be more mainstream (it does have the potential btw).
OZBOT, the legendary shoutcaster attending and Metuz too ! That's a good start
And Steven/dfb is attending too ! That's a great honour ! Aswell as Stevy is attending too as one of the sickest scope in the CoD4 scene, he will be a good addition to this conversation

I think Ozbot is almost too opinionated and passionate to create that type of talk-show. I would prefer 2 separate talk-shows perhaps Ozbots would be the one where listeners call in and its totally about what people think. Aka opinions. Metuz show would be perhaps a panel of people the same each week who talk about upcoming lans events features plans etc?
Just my 2 cents.
