Alienware Challenge comes to an end

The Alienware Challenge has been a unique concept in the eSports history and featured four very interesting persons travelling all across Europe for the last seven weeks to try and beat each other in weekly challenges. The competition for the Alienware M11x gaming laptop and a $5 000 prize purse between Livia, Ben, Matthijs and Alasdair is now coming to an end.

After the many challenges having been thrown at the different participants, you might think that the competition has already been decided. However, the Global Poll, that has been opened yesterday, will count double towards the final result. The Poll will play a 40% role in the eventual decision, with a panel of experts by Dell/Alienware having another 40% vote and the points the participants have gathered in the weekly challenges so far, will count for the remaining 20%.

Therefore, the competition is hardly over. You now have a shot at influencing the result dramatically by casting your vote in the Global Poll in favour of your most inspiring candidate. You, the voters, are no longer asked to vote, based on the results of the challenges, but just follow your heart and pick the one backpacker that impressed you the most, through his or her experiences, his or her travelling or shear charisma.
