Remember the Alienware Challenge? Well, after its huge success the only thing left to do was pick out the voter prize from the many people who cast their votes over the course of the event.
The winner was to be awarded with a top of the range Alienware M11x Laptop, the same bits of kit that the backpackers were using to blog about their travels across Europe and to upload the videos of their weekly challenges.
The fortunate winner was Simone Taylor from County Cork, Ireland, proving that the luck of the Irish does indeed extend even to online competitions.
On being told of her win she had the following to say:
"Oh my GOD I can't believe it!!! Thank you SO much- you have no idea how much I will enjoy it. I am so excited lol- it's like a dream."
We're guessing she was happy. Congratulations to Simone and commiserations to those of you who voted and didn't win. Don't worry though, there'll be plenty more opportunities in the future thanks to the good graces of Alienware.
