After a respectable placing at AEF last month, AIRBORNE-GAMING have today announced a slight roster change.
In recent months, the primarily italian side
AIRBORNE-GAMING have had a very consistent roster. The stability helped achieve a 5th-8th finish and Gamersject, where all seemed well. Having earned themselves a 9th-16th finish at AEF a few weeks ago, the team felt that they could do better. They decided to take a rest and review their situation. After a few weeks, they came to the conclusion that the best way for them to progress was to remove

Mirco '
magic' Graziani.
Filling his shoes will be

Simone '
Termy' Ceriati, another well-known italian stallion in the gaming scene. Recent action saw him playing with OX-Gaming at CiC7, and more recently, beating his new team into second place at SpringLAN 2010.
The team are now returning to full activity, hoping to get in gear for the upcoming TeX '10 event, should it be announced. They also hope to attend the rumoured (but not yet announced) Gamersject 4 and SmackLAN events.
The new AIRBORNE-GAMING lineup is therefore as follows:
Italy Amir 'george' Hajar
Michele 'goofy' Siffredi
Claudio 'solu' Giovanniello
Umberto 'umbe' Minniti
Simone 'Termy' Ceriati
We at TEK-9 wish them the best of luck with their new lineup.
Statement Claudio 'solu' Giovanniello: "After AEF we were a bit disappointed in the reason that we lost so narrowly to MondialServers, and at getting kicked out of the tournament so early. After hours and hours of team meetings and problem analysis we could not find a solution, so we decided to see what time would tell. We decided to wait until people had time to make up their minds. After about 2 weeks of vacation and thinking on what we should do, we decided to part ways with magic. Its always a hard decision because players are human, but esport is a sport and if you want to go further, you have to make sacrifices. About 1,5 weeks later we finally decided who to pick up: Termy. Termy was the person we wanted to play again with and he is exactly what we need. In the first few days of September we will return to CoD4 and start our training again. So you better be ready because we're not going to stop! I personally want to thank Mirco Graziani (magic) for the wonderful time we had together in Italy, Croatia, Germany and Belgium. He's a lovely person and we are all going to miss him dearly."
