The Germans redeemed themselves by beating Team-Dignitas and now have a slim chance of still advancing. If Team-Dignitas draw or lose to MondialServers, then Team Thermaltake are through.

In a surprising turn of events, Team Thermaltake have started off really well against Team-Dignitas, who now seem to find themselves in a real ditch of problems, needing the win to secure their advancement past the groups.

The battle of the day for Team-Dignitas is taking place on mp_crash and the Gamersject winners have no answer on the nades and scope of Kevvin. The A bombsite is where the Germans seem to be penetrating without too much opposition, Team-Dignitas are somehow unable to put any of its players there and they are not taking advantage of the bottleneck situation there.

The match is all about the Germans, with reflexzR being the only Team-Dignitas player that is putting up any form of resistance and BudzR is picking up his game on the defence, using the SMG to destroy the Team-Dignitas attack on A and in middle.

At this stage, the match is Team Thermaltake’s to lose, just needing three rounds out of 10 to win the match and redeem themselves for their earlier matches. Team-Dignitas seem lost and only individual performances by robyYE and reflexzR are giving the team any hope. All the Brits in the team are not performing and seem absent. Team-Dignitas needs a miracle to win this match.

The miracle is looming, though, with Team-Dignitas taking 4 straight rounds to close it up to 11 to 9 in favour of Team Thermaltake. Then the Germans called a time-out and huddle together, hoping they can rectify the recent mistakes. The next round is the very first slow one, with over a minute gone and everyone still being alive and everything focused on doing the perfect round. In a hectic last 20 second situation, Tt trade frags and defuse the bomb, win the round.

The next one is slow and close as well. But this is a style that does not suit the Team-Dignitas team and Thermaltake just await the push and lock them down. They take the win and burst into cheering, not expecting the win and people need to start pondering what is going on in the Team-Dignitas camp.
