The Reason Gaming versus eSuba match delivered on the promises and gave us a match that lasted till the last round and contrary to the match's balance, Reason won it and picks up three very valuable points. After a 1,5 hour delay due to sound problems for dUffER and subsequently problems with the mouse drivers for SoCLoN, the match between Reason Gaming and eSuba finally gets underway.
eSuba immediately head for the B bombsite and pick up that crucial first round. If eSuba manage it all the way accross and keep Reason out of the mellon area, they seem to secure the spot quite easily and are not really facing all too much opposition from the Reason Gaming side. dUffER so far, has had bad luck retaking the mellon hallway and eSuba are locking the entire B side off, giving Reason no leeway and only when individual actions are noted, such as a double kill or double nade frag, are they able to keep the Czechs from planting the bomb.
As it stands right now, the eSuba attacks are showing cracks, with Reason catching on and dying way later, luring eSuba into the plant and then focusing on the bombsite with nades and prefire, with bottom and top A house remaining dominant Reason area for the majority of the rounds.
eSuba seemed set to take the attacking side by storm, right up until the 8th round, where they suddenly had a much harder time against Reason Gaming, who were now pushing up mid and light house more to prevent eSuba from planting safely. The half reads 6 to 6 and so far, most team have used the advantage they gained on the attacking side to win the match in the end and it is interesting to see whether or not eSuba will be able to reverse that trend.
luckeR in particular needs to step up his game on this very scope favoured map, as he was not able to mark his territory as he is used to, quite noticeably avoiding the direct confrontation between him and SoCLoN. Pushing up mellon and defending B bomb hands-on is serving eSuba well, not giving Reason a way in.
The match gets tied at 10 rounds a piece and then suddenly, Reason Gaming are starting to pull ahead, winning the rounds and even reaching match point first, creating a situation wherein eSuba are suddenly forced to overpower Reason. In the last round, they eventually manage to lock the entire map down and get the win by the skin of their teeth.
