AEF: Review MondialServers vs Team Derailed

The match did not quite turn out the way I wanted it to be, with MondialServers having played a strong game and completely blocking the Brits.

Team Derailed come into this match flying high, having just beaten Team-Dignitas and becoming the darkest horse out of all the group stages yet. The map is mp_district and it is the same one that MondialServers overran Team Thermaltake on and the bomb play that MondialServers brought to the table is exactly what they would like to repeat in this match as well.

RaigeKi does play the pivotal role in the MondialServers line-up, he uses the rather unusual m4a1 with a silencer on the map, as he prefers the lower recoil and accuracy over the bigger power of the AK47.

After 6 rounds and a 5 to 1 score for the French, a time-out was called and the British youngsters tried to pinpoint where the holes in their defence lied. The time-out was over and immediately they picked up a round.

Whenever MondialServers hit the A bombsite, they execute really well and the nades raining in block any defence Derailed might have had in store for them. The most crucial thing they need to do right now is block RaigeKi making so many frags and tearing holes everywhere.

alpha is one of Derailed's best players so far, having done some pretty shots and being the only real opposition MondialServers are suffering in after round 10. Nearing the halftime point, the match seems to be slipping away from Derailed and the Brits have to enter the second half with a 6 round deficit.

Team Derailed wanted to take the fight against the superior aim of the Frenchmen in mid and meanwhile forgot to attack any of the bombspots, losing time and MondialServers simply did not show themselves until it really mattered and they could plant traps all across the map
