A match that unfortunately squared off two of the better teams out there, to see Fragmasters finish top 24.

H2k Gaming started strong and were looking more energetic and more shouty to boost their game and it paid off in the first couple of rounds, H2k Gaming shook up the Fragmasters attacks and secured a strong three round lead on mp_backlot.

But then they started queiting down again, started slipping away and gave Fragmasters a way back into this match. Performance wise, you need to give a lot of credit to germaine, who started stepping up his game by quite a bit and was shooting pin-point precise shots from A to B as if it was nothing.

This all contributed to the 5 to 7 halftime and the match was far from over when Fragmasters headed up their defensive side. The Swedes could not muster good attacks and we saw the teams tied up at 7-7 and something snapped in the H2k Gaming side. They closed out the British from the A bombsite and before you knew it, the scoreboard was reading 12 to 7 in favour of H2k Gaming.

Fragmasters mounted a last comeback and were not wanting to given in just yet. Once again, though, it all came a little too late and they had to forsake the the match after two rounds on their tally. The final score read 13 to 9 for the Swedes and they are now advancing on to the 1/8th Finals of the tournament, meeting Reason Gaming.

What they missed to lock out Fragmasters completely, was a qLimAxzqU in form, as he has been playing okay, but not his usual 15 frags-a-side self, sitting lonesome at the bottom of the H2k Gaming scoreboard. Of course scores are not everything, but teams are always based on balance and when H2k Gaming have built up their game around a qLimAxzqU that picks up a minimum of 20 frags a match, then you are suddenly expecting a lot more from your other players to compensate for those 15 frags.
