This match should determine who ends up in number two and three in Group A. Both teams have already played and are not really looking strong enough to topple Fnatic, in my eyes. The Italians already suffered some problems when they met up with Adversity and only managed to win with a 13 to 11 score, not really promoting them for the duration of the group and definitely not giving them a lot of chances to take on the all mighty Fnatic in a best of one mr12 match.
The Last Resort have had fairly easy match-ups so far and are my personal favourite in this match-up, but I am fully aware that not a lot separates them right now. In retrospect, AIRBORNE Gaming have had more LAN experience together and are therefore better suited to work together and maybe cause an upset.
It would have been interesting, if The Last Resort already played the very same Adversity and see how they would have dealt with them. The match will definitely be a loud one, with both teams heavily depending on the moral side of the game, both having big guys willing to lose their voice over a match, Darren "wannabe" Borrow on The Last Resort's side and Amir "george" Hajar for the Italians.
If the map is a neutral one, it might really come down to the wire for both these teams and securing that second spot is a definite plus, as it allows them to meet a potentially easier number three of another group and making it to the second round of the winnerbracket is what it is all about for either of these teams. Anything more, should definitely be out of their reach, this tournament anyway.
