The community will be awaiting this match quite eagerly, as RAGE.ru are often criticized for their online results and this is afterall, their first major European LAN event.Even though people are mainly looking at the how the Russians will fare in this group, whether or not they have what it takes and whether or not they are close to the same skill level they bring online in recent months, one must and cannot overlook the Fragmasters in this match-up.
For them, it will be a major possibility to break through in the European scene and prove they indeed have the skills to once again be considered a true top team and a win against RAGE.ru would serve them well in that department.
It will not be easy, though, as the Brits have had their tactical moments during the first moment, they had an equal amount of purely aim-based screw-ups as well. If they can play consistently in regards to their aim, they might be able to simply out play and out experience the Russian team.
If the Russians, on the other hand, manage to bring the same cool and emotionless desire to win as we have seen in the past from the Counter-Strike 1.6 teams and players such as Anton "Cooller" Singov, they could do really well and overcome the Brits as well.
I am going to put my vote on the British side, though, because of their LAN experience being so much more advanced than the Russians, but at the same time, nobody knows how exactly RAGE.ru is going to play and that could serve them really well at this event and especially against Fragmasters.
