Fnatic have done well so far at this event, no real challenges of course, but the team look solid and the atmosphere is relaxed, which is exactly what a team like them need to play at their best. AIRBORNE Gaming quite similarly are a team that needs to have a smooth atmosphere and spirit in the team if they are to do well at events.
Especially, AIRBORNE Gaming, as they cannot rely on their aim as much as they would like to in a direct confrontation with the Scandinavians who are considered to have some of the best players in the game. Therefore, AIRBORNE Gaming need to be flying high in their match-up and play the game of their life if they want to challenge them.
The map will be mp_crash and it has always been one of Fnatic’s favourites and they have a solid rotation on the map, which in itself is a very versatile map. Should AIRBORNE Gaming be able to lock out Stevy’s aggressive pushes with the scope and somehow block the A house down, they might be able to pick a long distance battle and wait for Fnatic to make their move, who might become impatient and do some attacks too hastily.
AIRBORNE Gaming have so far already done better than expected by beating the top 16 seeded team of The Last Resort and I am personally not expecting them to actually beat Fnatic, but if they just make a good run out of it and show their best, they should walk away happy and relaxed.
