The Vita Nova crew have been working hard behind closed doors to work out the format of the Antwerp Esports Festival #2 in Antwerp, Belgium next week. Just a couple of minutes ago, the groups have been made public by the game admins.
The LAN itself will be the biggest non-BYOC event in the history of Call of Duty 4 and will definitely go down people's memories. The staff behind the event, who will have representatives of Vita Nova live at the event to take care of everything Call of Duty 4 related, have been working hard to find a proper tournament format to ensure as much playability by all the teams involved and have settled on the following:
During the first two days, all the groups will be played out in full 8 groups of 7 in total to incorporate all the 56 registered and paid teams. With a huge amount of pc's available for the Call of Duty 4 tournament, this means all the groups will be played out in succession and there should be as few moving as possible. This also means that all teams will have a guaranteed 6 matches during the group stage, which is a lot more than the standard two to three matches you have on other LANs with groups of four.
All matchdays start at 8:00 CET in the morning. Which groups play in the morning, afternoon or evening will be announced later today!
Without further a do, the following groups are to be featured at the Antwerp Esports Final #2:
The top row, groups A, D, E and F play on Friday the 30th of July. The bottom row, groups B, C, G and H will play on Saturday the 31st of July.

Actually wanted to play my brother at LAN!
1. I have nothing to so with seedings of any tournament as I am a player. Bo does everything and we deserve 9th seed really...
2. Having an easy group means a difficult playoff, we play Fnatic early on...
- ;< ~dunno~ group...
top 3 pass? or 4? :O
didn't know we got in the same pool anyway...
aah shit happens i guess
yes we play qoob :D

gl everyone
Best of luck to all the teams attending and see you in 4-5 days :)
Now you can rest assured that atleast 2-4 of the top 5 seeds will go far in the tournament unless they play each other due to the skill gap between the top teams and the rest at lan.
Guess the game has evolved and the skill gap has slowly grown. That and some of the better players have slowly dropped off.
Back when yoiu refused the offer of a lifetime, maybe your yes could have been the cause for a summer domination :)!
