French powerhouse
Against All Authority, one of France's most known e-sports organizations, announced yesterday the closure of their Counter-Strike section, effective immediately. Several roster changes, unstable performances and lack of consistency throughout 2008 were a crucial factor for this decision.
Just last month, aAa ran into roster changes once again as they parted ways with Warren "Cosmo" Boisnard and Benjamin "drizzer" Charnet after a shameful performance at Ping Arena, in Toulouse. The team felt the two simply did not match with the rest and decided to let them follow their own path.
Now the three players that left are also removed as aAa is closing the whole Counter-Strike section. The organization was tired of the team instability and decided to call it a day, redirecting their focus to other games. aAa gaming will continue to invest on e-sports and specially the French market, the plans for 2009 will be announced in the coming weeks.
The trio that yesterday left aAa will still participate at EPS France finals under their old brand, eSports-eu. Nicolas "Dr.Crow" Vaissaud and Najim "moderatioN" Mounib were called in to finalize the roster for the event. Concerning Warren and Benjamin, they will stick together and create their own project.
aAa had the following trio after disbanding yesterday:
Rodolphe "Diodel" Verloës
Rémi "loduN" Colas
Rémy "RevZ" Prieur
