XIOP cancels their participation at ESWC Belgium

XIOP, one of the four qualified teams for the ESWC Belgium event, announced yesterday evening that they won’t attend the ESWC-event. The reason originates from conflicts within the line-up, as a few players had more important things to pursue and that led to an incomplete, disorientated line-up who wasn't willing to travel to the city of Antwerp.

Wsquared Media just announced that they’ll change their set-up. At first instance, they would recommence with the single elimination phase – from the semi-finals – but due to the absence of XIOP, they decided to hold a groupsphase with the three teams on site – only one map. The first two teams advances to the grand final in a best-of-three type.
