The Finnish Counter-Strike: Source team of Logitech.fi has made rather large changes concerning their lineup as two players got removed or left spontaneously in the middle of EnemyDown Eurokrieg tournament. The team's latest recruit
odiouz got the boot after it came clear that the chemistery wasn't getting any better than it was before. Also, along with odiouz, one of the longest serving members in the roster
kononen has left the team.
In order to be able to keep participating in the Eurokrieg, the team acted quickly and recruited two upcoming talents in the Finnish scene
quMp and
Maikou.
The following guys are currently in the semifinals up against
nameless in Eurokrieg:
SAMITSKY
zaikovski
delonge
quMp
Maikou
Statement zaikovski, www.cadred.org: "We've been struggling with our team chemistry for a while now. Taking odiouz in didn't really make things better. After the short period with odiouz we were again on the look for a new fifth. We had to make a decision rather quickly to be able to finish eurokrieg so we added Markus “synt” Raatikainen as a stand-in. Unfortunately he wasn't really what we were looking for and we finally came in to conclusion that we needed some big changes.
This might come as a shocker, because he's definitely one of the best if not the best player in Finland at the moment, we'll be parting ways with Olli “kononen “Salmi, who has been big part of the team for over a year. This leaves two spots open in the team which will be filled by Sami “quMp” Saarelainen and Miika “Maikou” Liimatainen. They are both young and talented players who just need the chance to prove themselves.
This is a fresh start for the whole team and we hope it will bring the extra motivation to work our game and finally reach the level we are aiming for."
