The British based gaming organisation The Last Resort has issued an interview on a great guy, the Gamevibes CEO,
Steven "dfb" Leunens. The interview focuses on several issues like Outpost on Fire/Antwerp eSports Festival, the future of the Call of Duty scene and TEK9 Networks.
Below is a snippet of the interview and you can read the whole thing by pressing the link under related links.
Previous OOF LAN's have still managed to attract all the best teams from across Europe. Do you think this will continue to happen or can you see the current economic status having a larger effect on who will be attending?
- I can see the crisis having some effect, but previous OOF events were all about the community. People hardly cared about the prize money and for future OOF events prize money won't be great either - though OOF are always nice events to come to as a team. We should see a decent amount of top teams signing in as well, because most COD players, even the competitive ones, aren't in this for the money.
