After the recent happenings in TEK9, UF, TCM, SL, MYM and fnatic, today more news from the European scene. In a surprising move, Team Dignitas has just announced the removal of its Call of Duty 4 division, stating they "need to consolidate and rethink their team".

Dignitas Creative Director Fredrik "NewmaN" Reinius explained the removal on the Dignitas website and stated that "after a good tournament in Antwerp the performance took a nose dive and the chemistry within the team was affected by that".

Team Dignitas its Call of Duty adventure however is far from over and a new line-up will be announced as early as this weekend.

Statement Fredrik "NewmaN" Reinius: "We went into the summer LAN season with confidence in our team, after a good tournament in Antwerp the performance took a nose dive and the chemistry within the team was affected by that. Together with the team we agree that changes need to be made for upcoming events.

Allthough we are not dissappointed with the results in the fierce competition we need to consolidate and rethink our team. We will keep supporting Call of Duty 4, it's far from dead. We would also like to thank all our players for their hard work and commitment."

All of the european teams didn't do as well as expected, because everyone underestimated the strength of EG and Pandemic. There was not much reason for a large chunk of the G7 teams to drop their cod teams. They all did well and just need to re-work how they practice/1-2 roster changes, not entire teams being dropped. Poor decisions among European GMs.

Sorry, didn't plan on breaking the euro scene =/

Also #108 the Euro scene has been unstable for ages, as a lot of times a big team loses, they generally chop members. If one of the Euro teams won these 3 LANs, we'd probably still see all these changes.

Every MGC will follow and every team will follow to leave their organisation when they are not getting the support they deserve, so when they are not perform well after a while things happen. How much do you think a team cost ? if you must pay it by yourself then you understand and really understand !
