The first edition of the TeK-9 Power Cup begins tomorrow at 19.00CET. So far, so good for this project as we have already recieved mass interest from the community regarding the cup itself and sign-ups. As stated in the original news post (located here), sign-ups will open tonight, Wednesday 19 December at 19.00CET and will close once all spots for the 16 team cup have been filled.
We do advise teams with interest to participate in the cup, to message me promptly at the time that the sign-ups open tonight, as its looking like all 16 spots will be filled up in no time. So, your raring to get your team playing in the TeK-9 Power Cup? Well, first of all you will need a team account here on our website to participate. Below you can find step by step instructions on how to create a team and get the minimum member slots filled up that are required for the cup.
1. Create a new team using the 'Clan management' option in your User Control panel to the left hand side of the website.
2. Take it from there by filling in details about your team.
3. Once your team has been completed on the website, get your team members to join up by visiting the teams page and requesting to join.
4. Being the clan leader, you can accept or decline who joins using your message box on your User Panel.
5. Remember, your team must have a minimum of five members to be able to participate.
Once you have done this you are eligable to enter your team into the cup. To do this, you can PM me via the website with a link to your teams page on our website and state that you are wanting to sign-up, or you can message me on mIRC and provide me with the same information (tek9|sCARFACEEe @ #tek9cup).
Remember, as I said above, places are limited, so if you want to participate, contact me immediately at 19.00CET tonight!
Update: First of all thank you to everyone who signed up for the cup. Around the 19.00CET time I recieved over 70 sign-ups on mIRC and our website. This is great, as we can start planning ahead for an even bigger and better Power Cup next time! The teams who signed up first have been traced and entered, so without further ado, I present you with the participants for the first TeK-9 Power Cup!
