sFx (upper l.) says farewell
Today, TEK9 announces the departure of Dimitri van Peer. The Counter-Strike team and van Peer part on good terms; he'll still play in the EPS until they find their new link.
From this day onwards, Dimitri van Peer (sFx, red.) will not be a part of the TEK9-team anymore. Van Peer told them that he didn't enjoy the game anymore. His motivation and feeling for the game floated away. "I struggled with myself in these last weeks. I constantly had doubts around my motivation. After a fun tournament this weekend; the time to quit was right for me." explains ex-TEK9-player van Peer.
In the upcoming days (weeks?), the Counter-Strike team will be looking for a suitable replacement. "I find it important to find the right link in our chain. If we rush things and attract a new player immediately, we could make a wrong decision. We, as a team don't want this to happen." says team-captain Dries Van Houdt (ciseta, red.) "I'm really happy that Dimitri gives us the time to find a replacement. In our search, he'll play the EPS-matches with us as a last sign of appreciation for our efforts towards him." Dimitri replies, "I'm happy for the chance they gave me. I enjoyed the trip to play in one of the best teams and I promise to give everything in me in my last official EPS-matches. As last, thanks to the players and management for this opportunity. I wish the team best of luck in their search."
We want to wish Dimitri the best of luck in his career and social life.
