In their first official game under the TEK9 tag the brand new TEK9 FIFA line-up took on LowLandLions in last week's EMS Europe Qualifier Final after having defeated Dignitas with a 12-8 score in the first round of the Upperbracket.

In the first match-up, both team's got off to a good start, either winning or losing by a relatively small margin and it came down to the final deciding game between Ackkie and BlooD after both sides were tied at 10:10. Ackkie managed to secure a victory in an extreme tight game, finishing 5 to 4 against the Ukrainian player BlooD.

With both team's moving on to play a second and final match-up. Although JonasL managed to win his second game against Geeneens with a comfortable 3-0 score, things took a turn for the worse with LLL taking a lead after mika defeated Ackkie and Crazy_kon secured a win against Rollo. Despite a good start by Maxos, defeating BlooD 4 to 2, the final two games ended up in a tie, 4:2, 0:2 and 0:2, 3:1, resulting in a final score of 13 to 7 in favor of the LowLandLions team.

In an attempt to qualify for the ESL Major Series, the TEK9 team will be taking on the German Team Competo (including former mTw player aVar1ce) in the first Qualifying round. The winner of this game advances to the Qualifying Round 2, the loser will be placed in Knock-Out Series.

indeed, wcg is way more important than online ems...Think LLL will be dissappointed with the loss of Geenens, because this wasn`t the expectation at all...
