Today TEK9 Networks is sad to announce the release of longtime member Burak "haya" Aydin. Burak joined the team back in Call of Duty 2 and was a part of the successful CoD2 line-up, winning the WSVG Dallas, EuroCup XV and Outpost on Fire 2.

Haya's motivational issues and the recent performances made the team decide to release haya from the team. The decision that was made by mutual agreement and we would like the wish Burak the best of luck!

In the upcoming weeks, the team will be looking for a suitable replacement to complete its roster. The remaining line-up is as follows:

Davy "Davy" Sysmans
Antonin "OZWALD" Grenier
Alexander "KNALLER" Shulepov
Stevy "Stevy" Verheyen

Statement Alexander Shulepov: "After underperforming according to our standards we are forced to make a lineup change. We noticed Burak is not entirely motivated to continue on this level and therefor he will no longer play for this team from now on. There are no bad feelings and no conflicts have occured either, this decision was unanimously made by the rest of the teammembers. He has been in the team for a very long time. He was there when we won WSVG, EC and more. I personally had a great time with him as he was the only other 'dutch' guy in the team. I'll remember the deep conversations we had after turning off the lights and before going to sleep (yes I know it sounds homosexual.)

I wish him the best of luck and hope that he will achieve whatever he wishes in his life. :) <3"

Statement Burak Aydin: "After AEF and TEX I somehow lost my dedication and motivation. I had some talks with the team and decided that we could practice normally from now on. Still it managed to fail, I did not show up for practice the days we were supposed to. I was going to tell the team that I wouldn’t play as much as I did before, so that also made me decided to take a step back from the team. I want to thank everyone in tek9 for everything they did for me and I am wishing the team good luck in the future."
