After the recent departure of our Finnish star player star Jyri "kammYz" Högman, the TEK9 Call of Duty 4 team has taken immediate action to secure its roster for the LAN events this summer.

Today we are happy to announce the addition of the 17-year old Belgian student  Stevy "Stevy" Verheyen, who currently lives in Meeuwen-Gruitrode, Belgium. Stevy is regarded as one of the more prominent Belgian players, playing at top level for the past two years for LowLandLions and Team CoolerMaster.

Stevy, also known from the popular "Lone Lion" movie (the most popular movie in the TEK9 database with 5,972 downloads and 10,971 streamed views) will be joining the TEK9 team in their preparations for the LAN events this summer, which includes the Antwerp Esports Festival and The Experience.

We would like to welcome Stevy to the team and hope he has a great and successful time in our ranks.

Statement Stevy "Stevy" Verheyen: "Well, first of all I'm very happy to be in TEK9, since they are one of the best European teams out there. I appreciate the chance they have given me. On the other hand I feel very very sorry for letting yazzy down. It was never my intention to leave a team. This came as a surprise for me, it was just an offer I couldn't refuse. Thanks to everybody for the support, I really appreciate it."

Statement Antonin "OZWALD" Grenier: 'I'm very happy to see Stevy joining our team and we are all looking forward to practise actively for the upcoming summer LANs. I'd like to thank all the people supporting us as well as the few players that applied to join the team, I know you didn't have much time to do so."
