With the AEF kicking off in just two weeks from now, TEK9 CEO Steven Leunens was interviewed by the European gaming league Live2Win (www.live2win-league.com) about TEK9 in general, its teams, Gamevibes and the Antwerp Esports Festival.
Next to the lengthy interview, TEK9 has partnered with Live2Win to create a small contest for anyone interested in attending the AEF as a spectator. Live2Win will be giving away one combi pass (a 3 day spectator pass) and three one-day passes to 4 randomly selected individuals who are able to answer the following three questions correctly:
1. What grade/level is dfb holding? 2. How many times a week is dfb spending on Gamevibes? 3. When was TEK9 founded?
To enter, all you got to do is register on the Live2Win site, check out the rules and how to enter and answer the three questions listed above.
Below you can find a small snippet of the article. For the full interview check out the Live2Win page HERE.
Is there any plan or secrets that you could tell us about the next AEF edition? I know the AEF “one” hasn’t even started, but well as it’s going to be an amazing event, I am very curious of what it could be next year.
"We are going to evaluate all positive and negative aspects of AEF when the first event is done. The months after that we will be building the concept for next year's event and I'll be able to tell you more about this!"
Before to conclude this interview, as the CEO of good growing eSports company, is there any tips you could give to other eSports organisations to keep up on the good work?
"Hang in there, fortune favors the bold and being persistent in what you do is one of the best qualities you can have. I remember the first sponsor letter I sent out was absolutely horrible but by hanging in there and sending thousands of them, you improve day by day." |

#1 actually, it's not really surprising as the interviewer is french. French are incredibly bad at foreign languages xD.
But the interview is nice, so that's not really a problem :) |
