If you think that ClanBase EuroCup XVII is over, you're wrong. After announcing SPEED-LINK as the winners of Spring 2008 season, some community remembers remembered ClanBase that their league was played on a double elimination bracket and therefore, the team coming from the lower bracket must have to win two matches while the one coming from the upper bracket only needs one.
This being said, the Germans will have to defeat once again the French guys from H2k to be crowned the champions. The decider match will be played as soon as both teams arrange it together. Deman from QuadV already expressed his thoughts about a possible shoutcast:

Will more teams join the likes of Fnatic, MYM and Dignitas and boycott all ClanBase leagues? Time will tell.
It all comes down to this, the ClanBase EuroCup XVII final is just a few hours ahead of us as SPEED-LINK and H2k-Gaming will meet again with only one thing in mind, be crowned the Champions of the first Call of Duty 4 EuroCup. Scheduled for 21:00 CET, the game will be streamed via QuadV, as always Deman will be the man behind the micro.
SPEED-LINK comes as the favorites for this match, the Germans are on a winning streak and it seems that no one can stop them, the last victims were LowLandLions who lost two days ago 13-6 in the Major Series upper bracket final. The EuroCup group stage went smooth, one loss and two wins was enough to get the second place and advance into the playoffs stage.
Interestingly, it was H2k who sent SL to the lower bracket right on the playoffs first round with a close 25-22 win. This match will be the second meeting between these two teams, a chance for H2k to repeat history or SL to get the revenge and take another EuroCup title home.
If H2k loses tonight, it will be their first loss in this competition. The French guys come into this through a controversial claim that granted them a forfeit win over Dignitas in the upper bracket final. After sending SL to the lower bracket in the first round, H2k were able to overcome SK Gaming in the second and KomaCrew in the semi-finals.
This may be the last EuroCup with the real best of Europe as ClanBase reputation is not doing so well lately, Fnatic was the first team to start a boycott on their competitions and later this season both MYM and Dignitas joined them. The lack of a decent prize money was the fuse for all this mess, now with Dignitas/H2k scandal, it looks even worse for ClanBase.

h2k didn't deserve to be in the final in the first place as they lost vs dignitas.. so why wish them gl?
And by not showing ur real name or ingame name BUT having the h2k website in your profile, is a hint that you are the biggest fanboy of h2k ever.. which is kinda sad because your profile indicates that you are 39 years old which I highly doubt.. OR you are in the management of h2k or do things for h2k and come here to defend them in every topic they flame on h2k..
