Earlier today
a topic was created over on our COD forums suggesting that the long anticipated release of Modern Warfare 2 is to be delayed by two weeks on the PC format, whereas the various other console formats will receive their release on the original date of November the 10th.
Of course this has yet to of been confirmed by Infinity Ward community manager Robert
"fourzerotwo" Bowling, but with various news sites reporting the delay, could this be a fast approaching official announcement that we have been dreading?
If this rumour is confirmed to be true, then we can see a few problems arise, most predominant of these is of course Multiplay's i38 LAN, set to take place on the 13th of November, hoping to be "the first Modern Warfare 2 LAN for the community", however if stories are confirmed, then we could all have to revert back to - a game which everyone seems fed up with - Call of Duty 4: Modern Warfare.
However for anyone outside of the UK community (generally speaking), this isn't too much of a problem, but a LAN environment can be a harsh testing ground for a new game, and could have been a fantastic start to what is set to be the biggest and most popular game in FPS history.
TEK-9 will keep you updated with any changes concerning the matter, as well as trying to contact Robert Bowling for a few words and / or an official statement regarding PC MW2.

This site just needs visitors. Activision.NL contacted "tweakers.net": its weird that this site gets this list + we from activision.NL are confirming that the game will be released @ 10 nov 2009.
So i suggest you better get the sources straight :)
If this happens tell him to stick his AWSUM perks up in the ass and it would be interesting to see his opinion about promod

This shedule is absolute bullcrap. OKE LETS DO THIS AGAIN:
The site relies on a release list that Activision Blizzard would have released Monday. The list is the PC version of the shooter from Infinity Ward on November 24, while it might initially appear on November 10. The versions for the PS3 and Xbox 360 are well before that date on the schedule.
On November 10 also appear the Wii version of Modern Warfare, the first game and the DS game Modern Warfare: mobilized. It is unclear how the list is Electronic Theater. Activision to Tweakers.net Netherlands has announced anything about any delay this and still go to the game just to appear November 10.
Where do they get this list ? Nobody knows

If so they have it, theire should be release date for Diablo 3 on it...
and 4th: Fourzerotwo is prolly one of the first to announce a delay on his twitter... Did he do that ? NO
Conclusion: 3rdie site wich needs alot of attention/ visitors and makes up a rumour so everyone jumps the train.

Thats right, always the same, but the game is still cool tho and the boredom with maps doesn't change the fact that it's still being the best CoD ever imo =)

Wouldn't mind if the delay counted for something like CoDTV, proper mod support, day 1 linux binaries or whatever but most like they are just rushing a port.
