MeetYourMakers part ways with FIFA team

After bringing in the RedCode team back in February this year, this week MeetYourMakers has decided to part ways with its Spanish FIFA team due to lack of results.

Despite the second place of MYM AleX at The Experience last weekend, with delfin-1 and Typhoon both finishing 5-8th, MeetYourMakers stated they expected "more from the team" overall and more importantly, from the game and the community.

According COO Mark Peter Fries, MYM feel that the FIFA community outside Germany is simply too small, with too few events and  too little prizemoney to be won.

Statement Mark Peter Fries, MYM COO: "All players in the team are great guys, so us parting with the team as a whole is not about lacking chemistry or professional attitudes, it's all about performance. Every player or team that signs the dotted line with a team like ours, know what we demand and what the criterias are to keep on being on contract -> Perform well and win! Some performed well, some not, but overall we expected more from the team in terms of LAN winnings and also from the game and community itself and hence none of that being present or happening, we decided to part ways in a friendly way. Additionally we must say that FIFA outside of Germany simply is a to small community with to few events, to little prize-money and thus to little a game for a team like ours."

Just my question when i read the article as well #1, no offense to mYm.cod4, sure they are great guys, but the results have been lacking, and if mym's gonna keep truth to the words they have spoken about FIFA, i feel that the CoD 4 team may be the next one to drop :S

In some ESL matches the teams play 5v5 , and they play two matches vs eachother .

expecting a team or players to win everything when there is what 7 G7 teams its unrealistic. That means theres 7 LARGE organisations you have to compete and then theres all the rest, the tek9s,dignitas etc etc. Also bad luck on the day can go against you, these orgs would have no teams left if the teams must win everything all the time

the games too random to keep winning, and if a top orga wants only wins, then they have dabbled into the wrong game.

tbh if i was a FIFA player the only reason why I would have a 'team' was for a training partner. 1v1 is where all the main prize winning tournies are i think as well
