Live match coverage: Button Bashers versus Dignitas

Map 1 - Strike

Button Bashers win the knife & pick the attacking side.

Duffer opening up with a double frag, followed closely by a grenade by qwertYYY. L-KiNG finnishes the round, winning the round for BB, with Mick being the only frag-winner for Dignitas.

Opening frags from the Button Bashers, closely followed by qwertYYY making a vital pick onto mark into middle shop. Both teams exchage frags which leaves L-KiNG & raz in a one on one, raz comes out victourious. 1-1.

A slow round this time, with all the frags coming in late. The round ends in a 2on1 in the favour of Button Bashers with L-KiNG & Duffer left alive against raz. Raz tries his best but only manages a single frag onto L-KiNG. Duffer finnishes.

SoCLoN finnishes the 4th round for Dignitas with a sniper shot into the head of Duffer. 2-2, "You can tell this match is going to be tight" - Joe Miller.

The round comes down to a 2on2, soon to be a 2on1 thanks to lookzor taking out Duffer. Nreo is unable to claim the round as he is headshotted by raz. Dignitas take the lead, 3-2.

qwertYYY unable to finnish the round, Dignitas take another round.

Team Dignitas seem to be picking up the pace, L-KiNG is left in a 4on1 situation with it all to do with the bomb in hand, however Mick shuts him down, and Dignitas now lead 5-2.

Both mark & lookzor go down early only taking L-KiNG with them, but Mick & raz quickly take 2 frags in quick succession. The round is left 1on2 in the favour of Dignitas, and raz capitalises. 6-2 to Dignitas.

Nreo comes in early with a double frag, but Dignitas soon return the frags and manage to win the round with 2 members standing.

Mark claims a sneaky SMG frag around the back of flower house, but soon Button Bashers equal up the player count to 3 on 3. L-KiNG makes a vital headshot through the A bins, leaving Dignitas Mick in a 3on1, and qwertYYY not wanting to die. Mick dies, 7-3 to Dignitas.

qwertYYY hits a huge headshot onto lookzor, Dignitas are 2 men to 4 before the Dutchman once more makes a vital frag onto SoCLoN with his deagle. Button Bashers finish the round. 7-4 to Dignitas still.

L-KiNG opens up with a frag frag onto lookzor, followed by a kill onto raz. Mick is taken down by the former TEK-9 German, leaving Mark in a 3on1. Mark is unable to do anything significant.

Half Time score: 7-5 to Team Dignitas.

A war-cry from Button Bashers as they go into the defensive side, but unfrtounately raz opens up the fragging onto qwertYYY, followed by a nade onto duffer sponsored by lookzor. Button Bashers find themselves in a 4on2, but L-KiNG fights hard and takes down SoCLoN, however raz finds him and shuts him down. Will is left in a 3on1 but if found by Mick. 8-5 to Dignitas.

Raz goes huge! Defending the B bombsite single handedly, but with 3 Bashers against 2 Dignitas this round can still be lost, however raz manages to find a frag onto qwertYYY, but his killing-spree is shortlived as he is shut down by L-KiNG. Button Bashers secure the round.

The next round is soon down to a 3on2 in favour of Button Bashers, as Mark slowly edges around the garage area with the bomb in hand, taking an AK frag onto Nreo, but the patient play of L-KiNG secures him the frag, and his patient play makes sure Mick cannot find him in time to win the round. 8-7 to Dignitas - BB fight back!

A quick round, Dignitas nade dominance.

qwertYYY & SoCLoN left in a 1on1, SoCLoN sneaks to the A bins and SMG's the Dutchman in the back. 10-7 to Dignitas.

Soon a 2on2, however SoCLoN manages to take down Duffer leaving it all on BB-merc Will. A slow play style seems to be working as he takes down Mick trying the plant, however SoCLoN replies after escaping the bomb, 11-7 to Dignitas.

Time-out called.

The game restarts, with Dignitas raining grenades down onto Button Bashers, but Duffer replies with a headshot onto raz. SoCLoN takes down Duffer, and all is left on Will, taking down lookzor and Mark. The round is too much to ask, as Will is sprayed down. 12-7 to Dignitas.

As Duffer picks up the scope the pace changes, with Will controling the A bombsite. qwertYYY making a vital AK-47 frag, leaving SoCLoN in a 3on1, a round he cannot win.

Team Dignitas manage to win Strike 13-8, raz finishing the final round.

Final Score: 13-8 to Team Dignitas.



Map 1 - Backlot

Dignitas win the knife round and pick defence.

qwertYYY picks off raz and opens up the fragging, and nreo follows up with a ninja deagle kill onto SoCLoN. L-KiNG sits high as BB have a man advantage in this slow round.Mark moves onto the bombsite with Mick working closely taking down Will. Mark makes a kill on the bombsite leaving the round all on Nreo. Nreo makes a frag onto Mark, but Mick scarpers & the time expires. 1-0 to Dignitas.

Button Bashers make a quick round without losing a player. 1-1.

Lookzor starts the round with an SMG frag, but the Bashers reply quickly leaving the round in a 3on1. Mick to clutch - but only manages to take down Will before L-KiNG replies.

Button Bashers find themselves in a 3on4, but L-KiNG manages to get the bomb down before being wallbanged, leaving the round once more on Nreo. Mick drills him through the A fence and draws the score back even.

Mark soon finds himself in a 4on1, before he is taken out of the game. 3-2 to Button Bashers.

BB-merc Will left in a 3on1, but is unable to do anything significant. The score is back even.

Button Bashers find thsemvles in a 5on3, soon to be a 3on3,  but qwertYYY makes a awkward kill onto raz, before SoCLoN replies onto him. L-KiNG & qwetYYY make two final frags onto Mick & SoCLoN, 4-3.

Mick in a 1on4, all against him. Taken out of the match by Duffer.

Easy round for Dignitas, could this be the start of a comeback?

Quick SMG frags exhanged, before raz comes flying out of top A making an easy frag for qwertYYY. The odds are against Dignitas with only SoCLoN & Mick left to clutch, but Nreo locks onto the head of SoCLoN before he finds himself drilling into Mick. 6-4 to Button Bashers.

qwertYYY versus Mick. Damage onto qwertYYY, but no kill. QwertYYY wallbangs Mick winning the round for Button Bashers.

A slow round once more before half time. 3on3, before Dignitas make 2 quick kills, L-KiNG finds himself against the odds. A quick-scope by SoCLoN secures the score at 7-5 to Button Bashers.

Half-time Score: 7-5 to Button Bashers.

Dignitas are now on the attack and find themselves in a 1on2 with Mick. He is unable to make any impact and is quickly shut down. Button Bashers continue their lead.

A HUGE double from Duffer opens up the fragging, but Dignitas are quick to counter, finally finding themselves in a 1on1 with the bomb planted. QwertYYY to clutch but is unable to make an impact. 8-6, BB still lead.

Another swift round, leaving Nreo in a 3on1. A slow push towards the planted bomb proves fatal. Dignitas claim another round.

A fash push from Dignitas works. 25 second round! Score tied.

QwertYYY mnakes an agressive deagle push bring the player count to 2 all, while Will locks down the A bomb by camping the stairs. QwertYYY soon makes a frag onto the remaining Dignitas member and once more take the lead.

Dignitas push up quick like previous rounds, but Duffer & L-KiNG lock down their target bombsite and take another round.

"Fantastic from raz" - Joe Miller, as the Dignitas player makes a vital frag onto L-KiNG. Will finds himself in a 3on1, but is unable to cause any damage. Dignitas find another round.

Two early frags from Button Bashers, followed by heavy SMG spray by L-KiNG. Button Bashers find another round. 11-9.

An exchange of frags quickly sees both teams with 2 players remaining with the bomb planted for Dignitas. Mark & SoCLoN make a tidy job of Button Bashers with a pixel perfect scope shot and a sneaky SMG push.

An early teamkill onto lookzor by Mick may be fatal, but Dignitas fight back the best they can, however they are still a man down when they find themselves in a 2on3. SoCLoN makes a rapid deagle frag, but Nreo claims another round, leaving Button Bashers only 1 round away from map victory.

3on5 in the favour of Button Bashers, as qwertYYY lands a massive headshot onto SoCLoN. raz & Mick to keep Dignitas in the map. Mick is now left in a 1on2,  but only manages to make tags onto Will, but soon drills him through a wall. Mick puts damage onto L-KiNG but the time expires. The map goes to Button Bashers.

Final Score: 13-10 to Button Bashers.



Map 3 - District

Dignitas once more win the knife round and once more pick the side of defending.

The first round & L-KiNG finds himself on the end of a car explosion, and Dignitas keep the momentum until they have a 5on2 advantage. The round slows down, but soon speeds up once more and SoCLoN & Mick make 2 super-fast kills onto the remaining BB members. First round to Dignitas.

An extremely quick round by Dignitas without dropping a player. Clearly a strong map for Dignitas.

More fast frags, followed by a teamkill by Duffer. Will is left on the clutch, but can't manage anything. Another round to Dignitas. 3-0.

The fourth round starts to even up, but as soon as I write that, Dignitas clear up the last remaining Button Basher, Will taken out, another round to Dignitas.

This is starting to look like a one sided game, as L-KiNG is left in a 1on4 and seems to be shooting blanks. 5-0 to Dignitas.

A much more event round as it comes down to a 3on3. However 3 frags are made with Button Bashers losing 2 and Dignitas losing 1. L-KiNG left to clutch, and manages to shut down Mark, but still has raz to find. Raz managers to sit deep and claim the frag onto L-KiNG through the bomb.

qwertYYY with the scope in hand finds hilsef in a 3on1. Sneaking around the middle market, he makes eye contact with lookzor, but is unable finish. 7-0 to Dignitas.

Dignitas seem to be brimming with confidence, peaking and rushing without any fear. Dignitas storm another round - are we going to see a 13-0?

A well fought round, but with all hope left on Will, SoCLoN manages a pixel-perfect sniper shot, giving the side another round to add to their tally. 9-0.

Finally! Button Bashers come back strong with qwertYYY making an important deagle frag. BB take their first round - big comeback?!

I clearly spoke too soon. Dignitas find their momentum once more and take their tenth round.

A close 2on2 situation, wih Nreo and Duffer versus lookzor & raz. Nreo doesn't seem too aware and he gets taken dwon from behind by lookzor, who follows up with an AK frag into the face of Duffer. 11-1 to Dignitas.

Half-time Score: 11-1 to Team Dignitas

qwertYYY unable to make a frag as he is picked from the side by lookzor. Dignitas take another round.

Will finds himself in a 4on1 situation, but motivation seems dead. Dignitas dominate.

Final Score: 13-1 to Dignitas.

This leaves the total score for the game over the three maps as:
