Last flight of the Ravens

In what seems to be turning into a rather big movement over the last few days, another team has announced they will be folding and go their separate ways, this time we will see the Danish all stars of   Roskilde Ravens throwing in the towel.

After starting as TDKC a few months in the past, the team consisted of some established players in the Danish scene, but instead of opting for only known names, for a change this team also took in some unknown but very talented players to bring a new impulse to their game. Shortly after the team got picked up by Roskile Ravens whom several players had already been part of in the past.

The team then decided in a rather surprising move to cut out their raw talent and once again go for the more established names in the scene, bringing in Holbek and Adagio to strengthen their team once again. However according to the announcement on the Ravens site, after this change some of the players could not bring up the motivation and dedication anymore to continue playing at this level of the competition.

This was a huge blow to the team morale, and instead of trying once more and bringing in new players, the team has decided to close down all together. This of course sees us once again losing a contender for the summer events which are coming close, and the possibility of losing another big organisation to support the COD series, as General Manager Frijec has stated they have no plans for COD right now.

Statement Kenneth "fRiJeC" Jensen to Cadred.org: " I am sad to finally see the team close down, but they've caused a lot of trouble on the other hand. Ravens have always been known for the COD series, so it was hard for us to see them dissolve slowly. We'll see what happends in future, we don't have any plans with COD right now."
