The moment all the moviemakers have been waiting for: the results. After counting the votes of 248 registered users (a few votes were not considered, based on the rules that can be found HERE), today we are happy to present the winners of the TEK9 In The Spotlight Movie Contest.

With a total score of 489 points. the winner of the contest is "Cereal Killers 0.5", made by eSuba player Czech Republic Nikolaj "Mazarini" Lazarev. Right behind him is the recognized moviemaker Finland Teemu "kezM" Kettunen, who finished at a close second place with his entry "Chinatown".

The fight for third place was undecided till the very end, but the SteelSeries QcK Mousepad goes to "In The Spotlight - jakmo" by United Kingdom Jim "jizm" Mo. j1zm finished third with 157 points, with Chef's "CANNON" just 14 points behind.

Its been a great contest with a lot of high quality entries and we would like to thank everyone who entered in the competition or voted for their favorite movies. For the people who missed the list of submitted movies, check out the ten streamed versions (HERE).

The 10 moviemakers will be contacted by email in the upcoming week. This mail will also include further information on how to claim your prize(s). If you did not receive an email by the end of the week, please contact Austria inFo- by sending him a private message on this website.

It's true that Maza's status has influenced the voting from many voters.
But what i am going to say now is not only based on how i think of mazarini but also on my opinion about Chinatown.

Don't know where it was said but someone posted something like this:

Chinatown is not a winner cause it shows more what you can do with editing software then it is suposed to be a decent movie.
I totally agree, you couldn't see anything from the kills just 0.005 secs before and after the kill.
The editing might be nice but way overused.

Cereal Killers on the other hand had some clear frags and the editing might not have been so much and great, but it was enough to make Cereal Killers a nice movie to watch.

so people who think that Mazarini won just because of his name, please learn to judge a movie on more aspects then only 20000 flashing lights in about 3 minutes.

chinatown is art and its meant for idk 10 ppl to enjoy in it..mazas movie is for other tards who dont even know what art is and who cant get something more complicated than things which 5 years old kid can see.Its like fast food vs posh restaurant.
