Important information concering AEF

We bring you more important information concerning the Antwerp eSports Festival, some nice deals and important information can be found in this post so be sure to check and read it all!

Gear, setup and registration

FIFA
All FIFA players are required to sign in before 10 AM on Friday. If they are unable to do this, the latest they can check in is 2 hours before their first scheduled match.

Call of Duty 4
All players are required to sign in before 3 PM on Friday OR 2 hours before your first scheduled match. For teams starting on Friday morning in the first two groups, registration will open up at 8 AM so don't miss it.

Every player is required to sign in individually as a code of conduct will have to be signed. The team captain will receive a copy of this document and will make sure all players obey the rules and regulations stated in this document throughout the event duration. Although players have to sign in individually we do prefer if you report to the registration desk as a team so we can give you a full rundown with everyone present.

General information about the gear
No headsets, keyboards, mouse or micepad will be available during the event and we will not borrow out any equipment. For those who left something at home or still need something, this equipment will be sold at the Gamegear booth at event prices.

Player party & entertainment
After close consideration, we decided to remove the stand up and bands from the schedule as this brought forth extra challenges, costs and a lot of inconvenience towards the community. It would mean extra noise for the gamers, as well as less streamed games and still focussing highly on the competitive aspect we thought it would be better to remove this section for this year's edition.

We wanted to do an official player party at Noxx Antwerp but due to some scheduling issues this wasn't a valid option either. Therefor we invite everyone to party in Antwerp on Thursday, Friday and Saturday in the clubs within the vicinity of the venue. Our crew would be glad to assist you in this and tell you where the good places to go out are. Thursday evening, the entrance for Noxx is still free and those of you who are interested are invited for a party there with no strings attached.
