With rumours running riot for the last few weeks in the community about the future of France's most successful team H2k, the squad have finally put those rumours to rest with the announcement that two new recruits would be filling the gap left by

Raigeki and

vazy.

The team have been one of the most long standing top teams in CoD4's history, especially at the beginning of the game's life. However poorer-than-expected results at both AEF and TeX have forced the team to re-evaluate the lineup. A few days post being released from the team, ex member vazy wrote a revealing blog about the months running up to the team's demise, which can be read here.

However the remaining three players have bounced back and taken in both Niejdan and woken in the hope of regaining their former status as one of Europe's top teams. Both players have enjoyed the company of xandeR in the past, in the well known French team emuLate.

Statement H2k Management: "These summer lans proved us that we needed to change something in the team. We have decided to replace two of our members, Raigeki and Vazy. Raigeki has decided to join an european team and the remaining players decided to make a big change and asked Vazy to leave. It's a big decision to change those two important players but it was about time. We welcome our two French players who both have an important history on Call of Duty 2: Niejdan and Woken.

Niejdan played earlier for H2k-Gaming but he had to leave for his study. Woken is a great addition to the team, he is a great assault player and he has a great experience in gaming.

Woken also played 18 months with Rukkae, Xander and Niejdan in Emulate. A new season of gaming is going to begin and we hope the new H2k.Thermaltake will perform well. Thanks to the staff for helping and support us."

Statement H2k woken: "I'm very glad to join H2k-Gaming and no doubt that playing with their support will be a great experience. I've played with xandeR, rukkae and niejdan in emulate on Call of Duty 2 and the teamplay will be back very soon. I also know arEs as we often chill on ventrilo with some other French players. Thanks to H2k-Gaming for welcoming us and I hope we will achieve great things."
