UPDATEShortly after their departure from H2k, the team has joined the ranks of
Burning, a newly formed French organisation started up by former Shockwave managers, who are currently supporting a Counterstrike 1.6 female and Call of Duty 4 team.
After replacing
Guillaume "risky" Plassier with Raphäel "RaigeKi" Nunes just over a month ago, H2k Gaming has announced they have parted ways with their French Call of Duty 4 team
on mutual terms.
With the upcoming release of Modern Warfare 2 mid November, H2k COO Rudy van der Reest has stated the organisation no longer wanted to invest in Call of Duty 4, while their CoD4 team intended to continue playing the game.
According to the official announced, the French based team, who finished 5-6th at The eXperience this summer, were already in search of a new organisation in the recent weeks and are expected to announce their new home anytime soon. Their lineup remains unchanged and currently consists of:
Marc "Vazy" Berthold
Tomy "Monstro99" Villain
Romain "thiap" Amherd
Florian "w1ndz" Amherd
Raphäel "RaigeKi" Nunes
Statement Marc "Vazy" Berthold: "After two years being part of H2k-gaming, we announce that we're leaving the organization. During these 2 years, we had many time to discover staff members, to know how it works here, and I feel sorry it has to end. However, H2k-gaming did the choice not to provide financial support to our CoD4 section anymore, and this until the release of CoD6. As we all wanted to keep playing hard this game and as nobody knows if CoD6 is going to be played, we decided to quit. I would like to thank H2k-Gaming and especially Jerry, Angelo and Rudy for everything they did for us."

prob because its already dead if we are honest
And yeah they should support their WCG cs 1.6 team that is an extremely talented team and could make h2k a much bigger org if they play their cards right

And then again we might get to a point where COD4 keeps being supported for LAN's because MW2 fails? So why not wait.. they say they don't want to invest any longer in COD4. If there are no LAN's, where do they invest their money in then? :D
There is many lans in france, cod4 is quite active, there is more and more know MGC.
And it was summer, but it seems to have cod4 lan (i38, ICL3) maybe not european lan, but it's quite normal IMO.

yea they are, however H2k came second at the qualifiers behind fnatic. Sweden only pay 1 team to go (or WCG whatever), so I'm pretty sure H2k have to pay for their CS team to attend.
However they improved their sponsor arrangements with the CS team I believe, adding steelseries etc. thus I'm assuming money isn't really an issue. (atleast for WCG)
