First five world class teams confirmed at Dreamhack Winter 2008

Dreamhack is the world's largest lanparty, a record confirmed by the Guinness World Records book and that the organization is really proud of. This year's Winter edition will have its debut in late November, between the 27th and 30th, and will be the host for the last world class Counter-Strike 1.6 event of 2008.
After releasing details on registration for the CS 1.6 tournament a few days ago, the crew decided to announce the first five professional teams confirmed for Dreamhack Winter 2008. More than 40,000€ are at stake in Jonkoping, the Swedish host city of Dreamhack.
Los Angeles Global Challenges winners SK Gaming are on top of the list followed by their Swedish comrades and #1 team in the world according to G7 Ranking, Fnatic. Two consecutive times ESWC Champions and Dreamhack Summer 2008 winners Meet Your Makers already booked their flights to Sweden too.
Brazilian best team Made in Brazil couldn't miss it either, they already are "Swedish" for Dreamhack for so many times they have crossed the Atlantic Ocean to participate on this tournament. The last team on today's list is Danish powerhouse mTw who is trying to recover from a really poor performance back in LA.

Further information concerning the tournament schedule, ruleset and map rotation will be released soon. More teams will follow as 12 out of the 16 spots available for WGT Dreamhack final stage will be filled by wildcarded teams, the remaining 4 are booked for the top4 of the BYOC qualifier to be held at the event.
