
Today we are proud to announce the full website of the Antwerp eSports Festival. Not only that, we are going to upgrade the prize pool to 50,000 € divided over the two main games, Call of Duty 4 and FIFA 2008. We would also like to announce the signing of a sponsorship deal with Packard Bell and Intel for the event which means that the PC tournaments will be run on brand new iPower PC's.
Here is the prize breakdown:
Prize distribution Call of Duty 4 (PC)
1st : 10,000 € + 4,000 € hardware
2nd : 6,000 € + 1,000 € hardware
3rd : 3,000 € + 1,000 € hardware
4th : 1,000 € + 1,000 € hardware
5th – 8th : hardware prizes (1,000 € each)
Total : 20,000 € cash and 10,000 € hardware
Tournament rules to be announced shortly. The event will run both Group Stages and Double Elimination.

1st : 2,250 € + 500 € hardware
2nd : 1,000 € + 250 € hardware
3rd : 500 € + 250 € hardware
4th : 250 € + 250 € hardware
5th – 8th : hardware prizes (250 € each)
Total : 4,000 € cash and 2,000 € hardware
Tournament rules to be announced shortly. The event will run both Group Stages and Double Elimination.
Prize distribution FIFA 2008 (PS3)
1st : 500 €
2nd : 300 € hardware
3rd : 200 € hardware
This event is run twice (once Friday and once Saturday)
Total : 1,000 € cash and 1,000 € hardware
Tournament rules to be announced shortly. This is a casual tournament running alongside the professional FIFA 2008 (PC) tournament. Registrations will be open Friday and Saturday morning and entry will cost 5 €. These tournaments will be run throughout the day on Friday and Saturday. The event will run Single Elimination.
Another 12,000 € in hardware will be handed out to spectators and people present at the event in various side competitions and sponsor booths.
The ticket and registration process is further explained on the website and spectator tickets are now available. You can find all details on obtaining them on the brand new website.
