AEF: The Grand Final awaits

The culmination of three days of intensive play is soon to be upon us as the unlikely heroes of the tournament Komacrew take on the all American lineup Pandemic. The stage is set for an epic finale after both teams have overcome many great teams in order to make it to the final two.

Pandemic have charged through the brackets, bulldozing every team that stood in their path. They have already beaten the dutch side in the semi-finales quite easily, along with other top teams such as MYM and Dignitas. They are currently undefeated and it will take a huge effort from komacrew if they are to mount a serious challenge.

However since their initial loss to the Americans the young dutch side have made an incredible transformation, defying all expectations and making it to the grand final after beating an on-form TEK9, a seeningly unstopable EG and then finally Dignitas. Both robYE and mofje have come up huge, and will need to be on form against Pandemic if they want to take the two maps needed to be crowned the winners of AEF 2008.
