After a 2nd place finish at the ESPC Fall 2011 LAN, where the Finnish team of 8D or FTC as they were known as then decided that it was time to part ways soon after the event with troubles finding a stable fifth member and personal commitments proving to much for the Finnish squad. Less then 6 months later and we see them return with one new arrival.
Ville ARMIS Paajanen was the first to make his comeback and straight away decided it was best to get back in contact with Jani synde Koskinen in the hope of persuading him to bring back their old line-up. With Sami Almost Koskinen still clanless they decided it was best to continue where they left off.
With two spaces still available the team could breathe a sigh of relief as Topi tobijas Stolp felt it was his place to step in and fill the fourth spot. With the core back together, their old teammate Joonas Fake Oikarinen opted out of a move back to the exFTC line-up had the challenging task of replacing him, although not as tough as they had imagined, with Lauri heepo Rantanen proving the perfect player capable of playing with the returning 8D.
Their main focus at the current time is pushing through CyberGamer's Amateur Ladder, hoping to return for Season 3 with a promotion under their belt. Still undecided on which LAN events they will attend throughout the year, they will look to carry on the impressive form they had shown during ESPC'11.
Statement - Jani Koskinen
"Since finishing 2nd after a bit humiliating loss at the ESPC 2011 Finals we had problems finding a new 5th player for HCC2 and further. Meanwhile some real-life commitments came on the way for ARMIS and tobijas so we decided to split. me and Almost attended HCC2 with xtotheD and since then Almost has been looking for a team and I played a while for team "Lakaisijat".
Later ARMIS contacted me saying he wanted to make a comeback and so we started to ask our old lineup to play again. Only missing "Fake" from our old lineup, we had to find another 5th which happened quite fast. Our new 5th being "Heepo" we will surely have a relaxed, good time trying to climb our way back to the CGm league till the end of this season. Hopefully we aren't too late for that ;)."
