Excello bring in two, Shiri out

Team Excello renews its roster, bringing in two new players whilst releasing longtime member Shiri. After swapping Twista with Kuppi back in March, Excello were struck by yet another line-up change in April, losing main starter tihOp to Roccat.

After a one month search, Excello has presented its finalized roster, bringing in former Roccat player  plastE and the somewhat more unknown Finnish player  dRiim, who has been given a chance to shine on a international level.

To make room for these two new additions, Excello has been forced to say goodbye to  Shiri, who lacked the motivation to continue playing CS 1.6 on a high level and will be joining the army later this year.

Statement excello kuppi, www.teamexcello.com: "After tihOp left us for roccat we felt that something has to be done. We have been playing really bad in last 3 tournaments and as a team we decided change our lineup more than just replacement for tihOp. We decided to remove Antti ”Shiri” Mäkinen from our lineup, because he didnt have any motivation to play CS, especially when he gonna have armyduty coming in this summer. We had lots of teamchats about the future and questions like ”who is our new player or in-game leader” was rolling everyones mind. Our conclusion is Samu ”plastE” Aalto and Miikka ”dRiim” Toroi for those 2 empty spots in our lineup. Now we have been practicing two weeks 2-6 maps per day and summer 2008 looks pretty good for us."
