4K bring in new team

Following the departure of their former Counter-Strike: Source team 4Kings have adopted one of the better UK teams around in the form of the TLR.CSS squad.

The team features four of the highest rated players on the UK scene at the momment aswell as Spanish 'superstar in waiting' Carlos "dumbazo" Garcia Martinez who was voted Most Valuable Player at Multiplays i34. The decision came after an impressive outting at the Multiplay i35 event where TLR.CSS forced UK CGS lineup London Mint into the lower bracket.

With several events and leagues planned, including the ESL Pro Series UK (with LAN finals in January) and LANs including The Experience and LAN79 in 2009, there will be an aura of expectation around the 4Kings camp, however I'm sure 4K.CSS won't "let the pressure get to them."

The current 4Kings.css lineup now looks like this:

Statement 4Kings Pez:  "Before i35 we were talking briefly to 4Kings and in the back of our minds we never thought this kind of opportunity would come to a team like ourselves. Therefore we joined TLR for i35 and it was great. TLR is a nice friendly environment which Chef is steering very promisingly forwards and I wish him and TLR all the best. At LAN we played betetr than everyone expected (even ourselves) and since LAN, we have been in more advanced talks with Ian and 4Kings. Everyones dream as a novice gamer is to represent a big organization like 4Kings or dignitas in the UK, and this dream for us has become reality. This passion that we have for joining 4Kings makes the game more fun for us which has made the motivation in the team increase tenfold. So to be playing for 4Kings is a huge privilage but the hard work starts now. I'd like to thank Chef for i35, but more importantly Ian and Toby for giving us this huge opportunity and we won't let you down!!"
