yeah mage is kind of faceroll which is why I stopped playing it, found myself watching the game with one eye and the tv with the other while still pulling 12k dps which is kinda sad.
Basically PVE as any dps is pretty much facerolling, only class & spec who needs to actually focus a bit while dpsing a boss is affliction lock, because you need correct timing while reapplying your dots for best dps, but that's about it.
Arena is a lot more fun, since you actually need some skills to win matches, especially with certain setups. But beastcleave and TSG are still facerolling.
Whereas it's true that PvP needs more buttons, PvE needs more coordination, you need control of 25 people who actually know their shit if you want to be good at it. You also need to spend time on flasking/potting and such shit...I'd say it's much more time consuming than PvP too.
But through PvP improvisation and timing with your other teammates shines...
sometimes on my (bad) realm frostlotus is really overpriced, because of lack of other herbalists. but so are red gems, at worst they are almost 300g each, which is /facepalm

Prolly gonna hit glad with both mage & lock this season if I have time, at least with another. Lock still needs gearing though.
Selling the hunter if anyone wants to buy it.
